Cottage Details
Set on the edge of Giggleswick in a quiet residential area with superb views over the surrounding limestone scenery. All on ground floor level but with stepped access to the property, Molly's Cottage is furnished and decorated to a high standard and provides a warm and welcoming retreat at any time of year. Adjoining the owners house it has a private patio area with table and chairs for relaxing after a days exploring. There are country walks direct from the doorstep, a swimming pool just a 5 minute walk away and two pubs serving meals within walking distance. The three peaks – Ingleborough, Whernside and Pen-y-ghent are within easy reach and there are shops, restaurants and tea shops in Settle just a mile away. One of the most scenic rail journeys in the country, Settle to Carlisle, can be taken from Settle station passing over the famous Ribblehead Viaduct, through the Dales and the Eden Valley to Carlisle .
Ground floor: sitting room with electric flame effect fire, well equipped breakfast kitchen, 1 double bedroom with zip and link beds (can be double or twin as required) en-suite bathroom with shower over bath, WC and wash hand basin.
Facilities: electric hob and oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster. Automatic washer, iron/ironing board. Colour TV, DVD with FREEVIEW. Radio/CD player. Bed linen and towels provided. Hairdryer. All electricity and gas central heating included in the rent. No smoking in the property please. Private parking. Sorry no pets.
Mountain bikes can be hired at £10 per day and includes helmets. Guests will be required to arrange their own insurance.
Outside
Picnic table on patio. Additional seating area with stone bench. Bistro Table is also available on the patio as well as a BBQ, great for the summer evenings.
Travel
A car is recommended, however travelling by public transport is no problem and we have Bus and train timetables available at the cottage. Off road parking available.

The nearest Shop is less than 300 metres. Supermarket, Banks, Restaurants, Fuel Station etc less than 1/2 mile away.
Further details
Nearest shop/post office is only half a mile away in Settle. Larger supermarkets, restaurants, banks etc in Settle. Within 2 miles there are 2 pubs serving good food. The cottage is strictly no smoking and we do not accept pets. We also own a Villa in Cyprus which is suitable for all year round vacations ie. walking, climbing, mountain biking, water sports etc. Details are available at the Cottage or please feel free to contact us for more information.
Booking notes
We require a £50 deposit to secure a booking (non refundable). Full payment is expected about 8 weeks prior to arrival.
The Settle-to-Carlisle railway line takes in some of the most picturesque scenery in Britain, cutting a swathe through the northwest Pennines via Ribblesdale, Mallerstang and the Eden Valley.
Thankfully it is run by a band of dedicated train buffs and while the market town of Settle is a fine place to walk it's an even better place to ride!
Many ancient bones – from those of hippo to elephant – have been found here in local caves and more history can be found at The Folly, a plush residence built in 1679 by a wealthy merchant which now houses The Museum of North Craven Life.
